Why A Dance Gym?
We chose the word "gym" because we want FDG to feel like a place dancers come to train, grow, and be part of a team. Classes aren't only about learning a routine, dancers build technique, strength, and confidence they carry from year to year. Our boutique approach keeps that training personal, with small classes and teachers who know each dancer well.
Our Story
We grew up dancing at a Maine studio where our mother served as Competition Director. Through her, we learned that dance education is about more than steps. It's about giving back, building relationships, and creating a place where children feel supported.
In 2015, our family opened a dance school together. Our mother and Natasha led classes in Maine while Justina supported the studio behind the scenes from Florida. When Natasha later moved to Florida, the sisters brought their shared experience together in one place, and Florida Dance Gym began.
Our family's experience in dance education spans more than three decades.
Two Teachers. One Consistent Approach.
When dancers take multiple classes at FDG, they keep working with teachers who already understand their strengths, challenges, personalities, and goals. We celebrate their progress, notice when something feels off, and work together to support the child, not only the skills they perform in class.
